Vision

To be an enabler in developing knowledge and creating value through perpetuation of intellectual and spiritual legacy of Professor Gunapala Malalasekera.

Mission

  • To create and maintain establishments enhancing knowledge, languages and technological skills amongst the people
  • To create a system of values amongst the youth of the country that will help create a dynamic and progressive society in the future
  • To create harmonious relationships amongst all people in Sri Lanka through restoration and preservation on temples and monuments the mutual understanding of the languages and cultural nuances of the cultural diversities

Our Chairperson

Vijaya Prasanna Malalasekera

Vijaya Prasanna Malalasekera , youngest son of Professor (born 8 August 1945) is a Sri Lankan lawyer, corporate executive and sportsman. Chairman, Bogala Graphite and Asian Cotton Mills, he was the Chairman, Interim Committee for the Board of Control for Cricket.

After attending Royal College, Colombo, he studied at Fitzwilliam College at Cambridge University, where he won blues for cricket. Having gained his MA, he was called to the bar as a Barrister at the Inner Temple. On returning to Sri Lanka he became an advocate and began his private practice. Following a major crisis, he was appointed as Chairman of the Interim Committee for the Board of Control for Cricket by the President of the country. At present he is the Chairman of Bogala Graphite and Asian Cotton Mills as well as Director of Carson Cumberbatch & Company and Brown & Company.

Ashan Malalasekera

The grandson of Professor Malalasekera and the younger son of Mr. Vijaya Malalasekera. Chairman & Founder of Arinma Holdings, holding qualifications that include a B.A. and M.A in International Relations and Peace & Conflict studies. Diversified & Extensive working experience in Media, Non- Governmental sector, Social Development. and Private Sector. Worked for UNESCO, USAID, Development Alternative Inc, MAS Holdings, and has spent time in Israel and Japan as part of work experience.
